Sustainable Commuting Initiatives For UK Businesses
Do you want to enhance your business, boost your eco-friendly reputation, and ensure the satisfaction of both employees and clients with Commercial Electric Vehicle Charging Points (EVCPs)?
At EV Charging Solutions, we excel in conducting EV charge point feasibility surveys and overseeing subsequent installations.
Our primary focus lies in evaluating EVCP installations for various commercial establishments, such as retail spaces, hospitality venues, warehouses, and offices in Rake Head.
Evaluation of existing power supply
Unbiased charge point recommendations
Determining the ideal charge point placement
Consultation on cost recovery strategies
Discussion on the proposed EVCP installation plan
We project charging usage rates over time, estimating the value of EVCPs for your enterprise by identifying the necessary size of installation, individual charger power supply, installation costs, and projected revenue streams for those considering charging fees for EVCP usage.
Underestimating the need for EV charging stations can result in businesses losing customers and potential charging revenues as their demands remain unfulfilled.
Overestimating the demand for EV charging stations can lead to businesses investing in EVCP installations with limited demand, wasting valuable resources.
Generally, the best electric supply for charge points would be a new dedicated supply.
Individual charge points vary in power supply from 3.6kW to 22kW. However, to meet the energy needs of most commercial projects, we usually work with a power supply ranging from 7kW to 50kW.
This calls for an electric supply that exceeds what most existing supplies can deliver.
Upon completion of the feasibility survey and your approval of the results, we can manage the entire installation process.
Our devoted team of OZEV Certified EV specialist designers, electrical engineers, and project managers offers a comprehensive turnkey service, from designing to installing and connecting the electric vehicle charging points.
For custom installations, we can handle any civil engineering and specialist requirements that may arise.
Though we have manufacturer partners, we are fully independent and will only recommend the charge point that best fits your needs.
The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a voucher-based program designed to support businesses in covering the costs of purchasing and installing electric vehicle charge points.
The grant funds up to 75% of the total expense of procuring and installing EVCPs, with a cap of £350 per socket and a maximum of 40 sockets per site.
The scheme is open to businesses, charities, and public sector organisations that meet the applicant criteria and use OZEV certified EV installers.
As an OZEV certified company, working with our installers enables you to apply for the grant, which will be further discussed during the feasibility survey.
You can recoup your investment and earn profits by imposing a fee for EV drivers to access your EVCPs.
(Please note that if you have received the Workplace Charging Scheme Grant, you cannot charge a fee for the first three years after installation.)
If you operate a fleet and seek to decrease fuel expenses, you might consider replacing your combustion vehicles with electric ones.
On-site charging is often more cost-effective than paying for energy elsewhere.
